Answers
a) i) The liver is affected in case of Hepatitis.
ii) Antibiotics are drugs used to treat infection by bacteria. There are a wide range of antibiotics that are effective in treatment of various infectious diseases like pneumonia, tonsillitis, appendicitis and others.
iii) In case of Kiran, antibiotics cannot be used for treatment of Hepatitis as it is caused by a virus and not by bacteria. Antibiotics can kill only bacteria not viruses.
b) ‘Prevention of a disease is more desirable than its treatment’
It is better to follow healthy measure to prevent a disease than taking treatment for the disease. It is difficult to cure a disease completely and restore the health back to normal. There is loss in functioning of the body as well as time, money and energy is wasted.
So maintain good health by eating adequate nutritious food, following healthy lifestyle, regular exercises and avoiding bad habits.
Hope it helps.
i) Liver is affected in Kiran’s body.
ii) Antibiotics are effective on the treatment of diseases caused by the bacteria. There are some diseases like pneumonia, tonsillitis etc where the antibiotics are used to cure the diseases.
iii) Kiran got hepatitis disease which is caused by the virus not by the bacteria. So the antibiotic will not applicable to cure Kiran’s disease.
b) This is very much important to prevent the disease rather than the treatment of the disease. It is really difficult to get the health back in normal form after the disease. So we need to maintain a good health to prevent disease attack to our body as during the disease we suffer from the loss of the energy and as well as money and time.
