- Alcohol is highly volatile substance, so burns in air to produce CO2 and water.
- If we take same amount (25 ml) of alcohol and water in similar dishes, alcohol readily disappears.
- Therefore, after some time water will be relatively same, but alcohol will be decreased in quantity.
