p = 25  is the value of \bold{\frac{2 p}{3}-\frac{p}{5}=11 \frac{2}{3}}

Given:

\frac{2 p}{3}-\frac{p}{5}=11 \frac{2}{3}

To find:

Value of p = ?

Solution:

To solve this given operation, we have to observe what are all the symbols given,

In the left side Take LCM

LCM of 3 and 5 is 15

Changing the fractions in to like fractions in the left side

\frac{10 p-3 p}{15}=11 \frac{2}{3}

In the right side the given term is the mixed fraction.

Change the mixed fraction into improper fraction.

\begin{array}{l}{\frac{10 p-3 p}{15}=\frac{35}{3}} \\ {\frac{7 p}{15}=\frac{35}{3}}\end{array}

After changing the mixed fraction in to improper fraction.

Simplify the terms to get the value of p.

\begin{array}{l}{\frac{7 p}{5}=35} \\ {7 p=35 \times 5} \\ {7 p=175}\end{array}

\begin{array}{l}{p=\frac{175}{7}} \\ {p=25}\end{array}

The value of  p = 25.
