c=cos

2s-c=3**1/2 (eq1)

let s+2c=k (eq2)

square eq 1 (** represents ' to the power')

4s**2+c**2-2sc=3 eq3

square eq2

s**2+4c**2=k**2 eq4

add eq3 and eq4

5s**2+5c**2=k**2+3

5(s**2+c**2)=k**2+3

5-3=k**2 (s**2+c**2=1)

k=2**1/2
