2x-1 / 3x+1 = 6x-1 / 9x-3

On crossmultiplying we get,

(2x-1)(9x-3) = (6x-1)(3x+1)

2x(9x-3)-1(9x-3) = 6x(3x+1)-1(3x+1)

18x²-6x-9x+3 = 18x²+6x-3x-1

-6x-9x+3 = 6x-3x-1

-6x-6x-9x+3x+3+1=0

-18x+4=0

4=18x

4/18=x

2/9=x
