Answer:

(2x-4y -1)^2

[Identity used. (x+y+z)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + z^2 +2xy +2yz +2xz]

so , x=2x , y=-4y and z=-1

we get,

(2x -4y -1)^2

= (2x)^2 +(-4y)^2 +(-1)^2 +2(2x) (-4y) +2(-4y) (-1) +2(-1) (2x)

= 4x^2 +16y^2 +1 -16xy +8y -4x

hope it helps
