then the value is,

4x+2y=30.....(1) value

then ,3x+2y=22 .....(2)

subtracting equation (1)by equation (2)

4x+2y=30

3x+2y=22

substitute the value of x in 1 equation

4(8)+2y =30

32+2y=30

2y = -32 + 30

y= -2/2

y= -1

X=8,y= -1
