Hey mate hope it helps you..

Multiply the 1st equation by 4 and subtract the 2 equations .

8x + 4y = 140.

-3x - 4y = -65

5x = 75

x = 15

30 + y = 35

y = 5

3x+4y=65...............(2)

Multiplying equation (1) by 4 we get,

8x+4y=140...................(3)

Subtracting equation (2) from (3) we get,

5x=75

x=75/5

x=15

Substituting the value of x in equation (1)

2(15) +y=35....... (1)

30+y=35

y=35-30

y=5

So, (15, 5) are the roots of given linear equation in two variable.
