We have,

\frac{2y - 3}{4} - \frac{y - 2}{2} = \frac{6y + 5}{4} \\

First we will take LCM

= > \frac{2y - 3}{4} - \frac{y - 2}{2} = \frac{6y + 5}{4} \\ \\ = > \frac{2y - 3 - (y - 2)(2)}{4} = \frac{6y + 5}{4} \\ \\ = > \frac{2y - 3 - (2y - 4)}{4} = \frac{6y + 5}{4} \\ \\ = > \frac{2y - 3 - 2y + 4}{4} = \frac{6y + 5}{4} \\ \\ = > \frac{ \cancel{2y} - 3 \: \: \cancel{ - 2y} + 4}{ \cancel{4}} = \frac{6y + 5}{ \cancel{4}} \\ \\ = > 1 = 6y + 5 \\ \\ = > 1 - 5 = 6y \\ or \\ = > 6y = 1 - 5 \\ \\ = > 6y = - 4 \\ \\ = > y = \frac{ - 4}{ \: 6} \\ \\ = > \boxed{ \red{y = \frac{ - 2}{ \: 3} }}
