Hi!!

By using the formula

(a+b)(a-b) =a²-b²

a= -3 , b= √5.

we can get

(-3+√5)(-3-√5)= (-3)²-(√5)²

9-5

4.

Thank you!!☺️

All the best.☘️

( - 3 +  \sqrt{5} ) \times ( - 3 -  \sqrt{5)}  \\  =  { - 3}^{2}   -   { \sqrt{5} }^{2}  \\  = 9 - 5 \\  = 4
hope this helps you
