AVG speed= Total distance/Total time

for 1sr train ,

velocity = distance/time

or , distance = velocity ×time = 57× 4 = 228km

For 2nd train

distance = velocity × time = 64 × 3 = 192 km

therefore total distance = 228+ 192 = 420km

total time = 3 hrs + 4 hrs = 7 hrs

so AVG speed = 420km/ 7 hrs

= 60km/HR
