Given Length of a room = 10m.

Given Breadth of a room = 6m.

We know that Area of a room = length * breadth

= 10 * 6

= 60m^2.

Given the breadth of the room = 2m.

Length of the carpet required to carpet the room = 60/2

= 30m.

Given that rate of carpet = 42 per metre.

Therefore cost of covering the floor = 42 * 30

= 1260 rupees.

Hope this helps!
