#HEART RATE:-
(i)The heart rate is the number of times the heart beats in the space of a minute.
(ii) The heart rate can vary according to the body's physical needs, including the need to absorb oxygen and excrete carbon dioxide.
(iii)It is usually equal or close to the pulse measured at any peripheral point.
#PULSE RATE:-
(i)The pulse rate is exactly equal to the heartbeat, as the contractions of the heart cause the increases in blood pressure in the arteries that lead to a noticeable pulse.
(ii) Taking the pulse is, therefore, a direct measure of heart rate.
(iii)The resting pulse rate for an average adult is between 60 and 80 beats per minute.
