3 friends check into a hotel and pay 300 to the manager then go to their room. The manager suddenly remembers that the rent is 250 and gives 50 to the bearer to return .the bearer keeps 20 and gives 30 to the 3 people since 50 to 3 is difficult .
The friends paid 100 each and got back 10 so each paid 90 totalling 270 the bearer has 20 totalling 290 .where is the missing 10 rupees notes?

☑Here is your answer ⤵

▶Original bill was of 75 &

everyone contributed Rs25 each.

So 25*3= 75.

▶But they got a cash back of Rs 5 on the total bill. So the New bill is

Rs 75-5=70.

▶Now each got a cash back of Rs 1 from the waiter.

So their actual contribution (each) reduced to 25-1= 24.

Total contribution = 24*3= 72.

.

▶Now 72 they contributed But the bill was of 70 (after rs 5 cash back) and the remaining Rs 2 are in waiter's pocket. (72-70=2)

.

▶Their actual contribution Rs 72 & the money in waiter's pocket i.e. Rs 2 are to be subtracted to get the amount of the bill. (Not Added)

.

▶So there is NO Rs 1 which is missing.
