The earth is into 3 structural layers-

1. CORE - It is the innermost layer of earth which consists of two parts inner core and outer core.The inner cire is also called NIFE as it consists of mainly Iron and Nickel .The temperature and pressure are very high here.
2. Mantle - It is the second layer of earth and it is seperated from the core by the Gutenberg discontinuity.The Mantle is again divided into two parts -The Upper mantle and The lower mantle .From 100-410km the mantle is semi molten known as Aesthenosphere.The techtonic plates are pressnt in this layer.
3. Crust - It is the outermost layer of the earth .It is mainly made up of rocks and is also known as lithosphere.It is again divided into two parts -Sial (A lighter layer forming continental floor) and Sima(A heavier layer forming ocean floor).It is seperated from the mantle by the Moho discontinuity.All the living beings on earth are oersent in these layers.All the landforms are also present here.Due to the various forces of the earth continuos changes take place on the earth.
