let no of moles of propane = x and butane =y

2 C4H10 + 13 O2 ⇒ 8 CO2 + 10 H2O.for butane when we take  2ltr of it

2ltr                              8ltr

C3H8 + 5O2 ⇒ 3CO2 + 4H2O  as no of moles is propotional to volume

1ltr                         3ltr

from this 2ltr of butane and 1ltr of propane is burned to get 11ltr of co₂
