3+2 < x
x >5
thus the value of x is greater than 5

2x >x-5
2x-x > -5
x > -5
thus the value of x is greater than-5

bkk7702bd: for ex- 1/x-2 <=0... if 1/x-2 is greater than equal to zero than x-2 should be less than zero.... x-2<0... x<2...... we didn't cross multiplied because we don't know the value of x
