Given:-

  • Force ,F = 30 N

  • Mass ,m = 5kg

  • Initial velocity,u = 10m/s

  • Final velocity ,v = 22m/s

To Find:-

  • Time taken ,t

Solution:-

As we know that force is the product of mass and acceleration.

Firstly we calculate the acceleration of the body

• F = m×a

Substitute the value we get

→ 30 = 5×a

→ a = 30/5

→ a = 6m/s²

Therefore the acceleration of the body is 6m/s²

Now , Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity at per unit time

• a = v-u/t

Substitute the value we get

→ 6m/s = 22-10/t

→ 6 = 12/t

→ 6 ×t = 12

→ t = 12/6

→ t = 2s

Therefore the time taken by the car is 2 second.
