hey there...

here is ur answer. ^ ^

the standard of the speed is M/S m/s meters / seconds.

the distance given is 35/2 and the time is 5 hours. .

then the speed will be

35/2/5

which is

 \frac{35}{2}  \times  \frac{1}{5}

which is

 \frac{35}{10}

so the speed is

3.5 km / hr .....

now let's convert this into m/s

we need to multiply km with 1000 and hr with 3600

1000 becoz 1 km is 1000m
3600 becoz 1 hr is 3600 sec.

 \frac{3.5}{1}  \times  \frac{1000}{3600}

let's simply 1000 and 3600 we will get....

 \frac{5}{18}
so....

 \frac{3.5}{1}  \times  \frac{5}{18}

we get

 \frac{17.5}{18}

so the answer is

  \frac{17.5}{18}  \frac{m}{s}

hope this helps!
