3x - 4y = 15. ---(1)

5x - 2y = 11-----(2)

multiply equation (1) by 5 and equation (2) by 3

we get ,

15x - 20y = 75

15x - 6 y = 33
____________ by subtracting it !
-14 y = 42

y = -3

now put the value of. " y" in equation (1)

3 x - 4 (-3 ) = 15

3x = 15 - 12

3x = 3

x = 1
hence ,the value of "x " and "y " are 1 and -3.
hope it helps !
thank you !
