Hi ,

Compare 3x² - 5x + 7 = 0 with

ax² + bx + c = 0 , we get

a = 3 , b = -5 , c = 7

Discreaminant ( D ) = b² - 4ac

D = ( -5 )² - 4 × 3 × 7

D = 25 - 84

D = - 59

D < 0

Therefore ,

Roots of given quadratic equation

are not real.

I hope this helps you.

{Hello}

Solution,

3x² - 5x + 7 = 0

Comparing with ax², + BC + c =0, we get,

a =3,b = - 5, c = 7

∆ =b²-4ac

=(-5)²-4×3×7

=25 - 84

.'. ∆ = -59

.'.{As ∆ <0, the root of the quadratic equation are not real }

Thank you
