\frac{4}{1}+\frac{3}{y}=5
=>\frac{4y+3}{y}=5
=>4y+3=5y
=> 3=5y-4y
=> 3=y
i.e. y=3

hi \\ here \: is \: the \: solution \\  \\  \frac{4}{1}  +  \frac{3}{y}  = 5 \\  \frac{4y + 3}{y}  = 5 \times \: y \\ 4y + 3 = 5y - 4y \\ 3 = y
