4. A conical tent is 10 m high and the radius of its base is 24 m. Find
(i) slant height of the tent.
(ii) cost of the canvas required to make the tent, if the cost of 1 m canvas is * 70.​

Height (h) = 10m

Radius (r) = 24m

To find -

1) Slant height (l) =?

2) Cost of the canvas required to make the tent, if the cost of 1m² is 70

Solution -

l =  \sqrt{ {r}^{2}  +  {h}^{2} }

l =  \sqrt{ {24}^{2} +  {10}^{2}  }

l =  \sqrt{576 + 100}

l =  \sqrt{676}

l = 26

Therefore the Slant height of the cone is 26m
