Given :

4 [ sin^{4} 30° + cos^{4}60°] - 3[ cos^{2}45° - sin^{2}90°]

To Find :

We are required to find the value of given trigonometric functions.

Solution :

4 [ sin^{4} 30° + cos^{4}60°] - 3[ cos^{2}45° - sin^{2}90°]

= 4 [ (\frac{1}{2} )^{4} +

= 4[ \frac{1}{16} +

= 4× \frac{2}{16}  - 3[-\frac{1}{2}]

= \frac{1}{2} + \frac{3}{2}

= \frac{4}{2}

= 2

∴ The value of 4 [ sin^{4} 30° + cos^{4}60°] - 3[ cos^{2}45° - sin^{2}90°] is 2.
