However one can assume a different pattern nth term to be of the form

2^n +an^2+bn+c

n=1 : 2 + a + b + c = 2

n = 2: 4 +4a + 2b + c = 7

n = 3: 8 + 9a + 3b + c = 12

sloving for a, b, c will give you a = -1, b = 6 and c = -5

Hence you can as nth term of the sequence 2^n - n^2 + 6n - 5

this would give for the next three terms 19, 32, 59
