total students = 7000

**children's like maths = 40%

 7000 \times \frac{40}{100} = 2800

** children's like hockey = 15%

7000 \times \frac{15}{100} = 1050

**remaining percentage play badminton= 100-(40+15) = 45%

7000 \times \frac{45}{100} = 3150

Number of students that like to play cricket:

40% x 7000 = 0.4 x 7000 = 2800

Number of students that like hockey:

15% x 7000 = 0.15 x 7000 = 1050

Number of students that like badminton:

7000 - 1050 - 2800 = 3150

Answer: cricket = 2800, hockey = 1050, badminton = 3150
