{\red{\underline{\mathbb{\huge{\bf{Answer-}}}}}}

5 + 2(x - 1) = x + 4(x - 3) \\ 5 + 2x - 2 = x + 4x - 12 \\ 3 + 2x = 5x - 12  \\  3 + 12 = 5x - 2x \\ 15 = 3x \\ x = 5

hola mate!!!

Solution:

here,

5+2(x-1)=x+4(x-3)

5+2x-2=x+4x-12

3+2x=5x-12

3+12=5x-2x

15=3x

15/3=x

5=x

therefore, the value of x=5

now,

Checking:

3+2x=5x-12

3+2(5)=5(5)-12

3+10=25-12

13=13

therefore, the value of x= 5

hope this helps!!
