1st condition

5x +4y=5600

2nd condition

4x +3y=30

multiply 1st by 3

and 2nd by 4

3(5x+4y=5600)

15x+12y=16800.....3rd

4(4x+3y=30)

16x+12y=120......4th

subtract 3rd and 4th

15x+12y=16800

-16x+12y=120

..............................

-x+0=16680

x=-16680.....put in 2nd by

4x+3y=30

4×16680+3y=30

66720+3y=30

3y=66720-30

3y=66690

y=66690/3=22230

hence y=22230

price of 1 chair is 16680RS. and

price of 1 table is 22230RS
