Heart is a muscular organ that is about the size of a fist. It has several parts, including the left and right ventricles, left and right atriums, pulmonary artery, vein and valve, aorta, aortic valve and others.

Blood flows through the right atrium and reaches the right ventricle, and is finally pumped to lungs to get oxygen.

From lungs, blood flows into the left atrium and reaches left ventricle, from where it is pumped for systemic circulation.
