THE QUESTION MAY BE x² - 2x - x + 2 Or x³ - 2x - x² + 2
AM SOLVING BOTH THE POSSIBILITES.
1st POSSIBILTY
x² - 2x - x + 2
=x(x-2)-1(x-2)
=(x-2)(x-1)
2nd POSSIBILITY
x³ - 2x - x² + 2
= x(x²-2) - 1(x²-2)
= (x²-2)(x-1)
I GAVE THESE TWO PROBABILITIES BECAUSE THE QUESTION WHICH YOU POSTED DIDN'T HAVE FACTORS IN IT TO BE FACTORISED. ONLY EITHER OF THE TWO PROBABILITIES THAT I GAVE MUST BE CORRECT.
HOPE IT HELPS.....
