To Find : surface area of the resulting cuboid

Solution:

Cube with edge  20 cm

Length = Breadth = Height = 20 cm

4 cubes each of edge 20  cm one above the other  

Hence Length = Breadth  = 20 cm

Height = 20 x 4  = 80 cm

Cuboid Dimensions  

20 x 20 x 80  

Surface Area  = 2 ( 20 * 20  + 20 * 80 +  20 * 80)

= 2(400 + 1600 + 1600)

= 2(3600)

= 7200  cm²

surface area of the resulting cuboid.​ = 7200  cm²
