Take cost of 1 pencil =x and cost of 1 pen =y, the eqn are
5x+5y=50... (i) and 7x+5y=46... (i) subtract to get -2x=4 so x=4/(-2) undefined so check the value 46 it should be greater than 50,post the correct question and I will answer.
