500 grams of oxygen atom and 500 grams of oxygen molecules have same moles or not​

Cause when you according to the formula..

n= W / MM

and in the first case it won't be molecular mass but atomic mass by which you will have to divide the mass of the sample.

So in the 1st case n =500/16

and in the 2nd case it will be 500/32

and hence different.
