AnswEr :

⋆ Let the Share of A be Rs. x

⋆ B Got Rs. 60 more than half share of A

» B = 60 + ½A

» B = 60 + ½x —(¡)

⋆ C Got Rs. 90 more than ¼th share of A

» C = 90 + ¼A

» C = 90 + ¼x —(¡¡)

Now According to Question :

⇒ A + B + C = 500

⇒ x + (60 + ½x) + (90 + ¼x) = 500

  • [ From ( ¡ ) and ( ¡¡ ) ]

⇒ x + {(120 + x) /2} + {(360 + x) /4} = 500

⇒ {4x + (240 + 2x) + (360 + x)} /4 = 500

⇒ 4x + 2x + x + 240 + 360 = 500 × 4

⇒ 7x + 600 = 2000

⇒ 7x = 2000 - 600

⇒ 7x = 1400

  • Dividing Both Term by 7

x = 200
