Given expressions,

-5xy - 8x - 9 and 7xy - 7x + 6

Let the -5xy - 8x - 9 be ex(i),

& 7xy - 7x + 6 be ex(ii).

On Subtracting expression (i) from ex(ii).

7xy - 7x + 6 - (-5xy - 8x - 9)

= 7xy + 5xy - 7x + 6+ 8x+ 9

= 12xy + x + 15

Hence, the answer when the given expressions are subtracted is 12xy + x + 15.

Hope it helps.

Hi ,

Given expressions are

- 5xy - 8x - 9 and 7xy - 7x + 6

i ) Subtracting second expression

from first we get ,

-5xy - 8x - 9 - ( 7xy - 7x + 6 )

= -5xy - 8x - 9 - 7xy + 7x - 6

= - 5xy - 7xy - 8x + 7x - 9 - 6

= - 12xy - x - 15

ii ) Subtracting first expression

from second , we get

7xy - 7x + 6 - ( -5xy - 8x - 9 )

= 7xy - 7x + 6 + 5xy + 8x + 9

= 7xy + 5xy - 7x + 8x + 6 + 9

= 12xy + x + 15

I hope this helps you.
