Answer:

Given first expression a²+b²+2ab,

Second expression = 3a²-2ab +5b²

i ) Subtract first expression from

Second expression, we get

3a²-2ab+5b²-( a²+2ab+b² )

= 3a²-2ab+5b²-a²-2ab-b²

= 2a² - 4ab + 4b²

ii ) Subtract second expression

from first expression , we get

a² + 2ab + b² - ( 3a² - 2ab + 5b² )

= a² + 2ab + b² - 3a² + 2ab - 5b²

= -2a² + 4ab - 4b²
