Time will be taken as 't' and final velocity as 'v'.

h = ut + 0.5at²

= 20 = 0.5*10*t*t

= 20 = 5t²

= 4 = t²

= 2 s = t

As we have calculated the time required by the ball to reach the ground, now it's time for the final velocity.

v² = u²+2ah

= v² = 2ah

= v² = 2*10*20

= v² = 400

= v = 20 m/s
