6.Differentiate between speed and velocity of a body. Out of the two ,which have the zero mean value for a moving body.? Give one example.

  3. speed can be equal to or greater than velocity whereas velocity can be zero or lesser than or equal to speed

Out of the two only the mean value of velocity can be zero

Speed is the distance covered by the body per unit time while velocity is displacement covered by the body per unit time.
Speed is scaler quantity and velocity is vector quantity.
Velocity can have a zero mean value but speed cannot have as displacement can be zero,negative or it can be positive.
We can take example of a pencil which is moving on a circle ⭕️ once the pencil has started moving displacement and distance both will increase but once it reaches on the same position than displacement becomes zero as it is on its initial place but distance will be there that is one circle.
