Answer:

36 Men will be required to complete remaining work in 1 day

Step-by-step explanation:

6 men can complete a piece of work in 12 days

= work = 6×12 = 72 men days

1 Man 1 day work = 1/72

8 women can complete the same piece of work in 18 days

= works = 8×18 = 144 Women days

1 women 1 day work = 1/144

18 children can complete the same piece of work in 10 days.

= work = 18×10 = 180 children days

4 men, 12 women and 20 children work together for 2 days.

Work done = 2(4×1/72+12×1/144+20×1/180)

= 2(1/8+1/12+1/9)

= 2(2+3+4)36

= 18/36

= 1/2

Remaining work = 1-1/2 = 1/2

1 Man 1 day work = 1/72

Number of men required to complete remaining work in 1 days = (1/2)/(1/72) = 36

36 Men will be required to complete remaining work in 1 day.
