6. Pie chart drawn in Fig. 15.20 depicts the number of
students of classes VII to X of a school. Read it and
answer the following questions, if there are 720
students in these four classes.

There are 120 students in class X

Let x be the common multiple

60x + 75x + 105x + 120x = 720

Therefore, 360x = 720

x = 720/ 360

x = 2

The no. of students in class X = 60x

= 60 x 2

= 120
