I will first try to resolve the issue by speaking to the person who initiated the fight.....

If it does not resolve by that I would obviously go to report the teacher, not necessary class teacher, and ask him or her to solve it....

Just leaving your friend in a fight or start fighting to create chaos is not what I prefer.....
