Radius of two small semicircles = πr²/2 + πr²/2

= π × 10 × 10 / 2 + π × 7 × 7 / 2

= 22/7 × 5 × 10 + 22/7 × 7 × 7 / 2

= ( 157.14 + 77 ) cm²

= 234.14 cm² .

Radius of big semicircle = 20 cm + 14 cm/ 2

= 34/2cm = 17 cm

Area of big semicircle = πr²/2

= 22/7 × 17 × 17 / 2

= 454.14 cm²

Area of shaded = ( 234.14 + 454.14 )cm²

= 688.28 cm² .
