THE CORRECT ANSWER WILL BE

k = 0

EXPLANATION

Let the zeroes are

P and - P

given f(x) = 4x^2 - 8kx - 9

( On comparing f(x) with ax^2 + bx + c we get : a= 4;

b= -8k ; c = -9 )

we know that,

Sum of zeroes = -b/a

P + ( - p) = - (- 8k) / 4

0 = 8k/4

8k = 0

k = 0

HENCE K = ZERO
