7^(m+3) = 7^ 5
then m + 3 = 5
m = 2

 \frac{7 ^{m} }{7^{ - 3} }  =  {7}^{5}
 7 ^{m - ( - 3)}  =  {7}^{5}
 {7}^{m + 3}  =  {7}^{5}
In an equation if if the bases of the powers are equal=>powers are also equal.
So,m+3=5
m=5-3
m=2
