7 men and 3 women do a piece of work in 10 days 8 men and 2 women do the same work in 8 days then how much work can be done by 12 men in one day??​

4.8 days=4 days 19.2 hrs

let time taken to do work by a man be 'x'

and time taken to do work work by a woman be 'y'.

so according to the question

7x + 3y=10.......eq 1

8x + 2y=8.........eq 2

solving eq 1 and eq 2 together

x=2/5 y=12/5

therefore time taken by 12 men

12x=12(2/5)

=24/5

=4 and 4/5 days

=4.8 days

7men and 3women can do work in 10 days

so seven man can do in 7*10=70M (equation 1)

and three women can do in 3*10=30W(equation 2)

8men and 2 women can do work in 8days

so eight men can do in 8*10=80M(equation 3)

so two women can do in 2*10=20W(equation 4)

subtracting equation one from three

80-70=10M (equation 5)

subtracting equation four from two

30-20=10W(equation 6)

equating equation 5 and 6

10M=10W

M=W (equation 7)

this means one man work is equal to one women work.

seven men and 3womem can do a work in ten days

so

7M+3W

7M+3M (from equation 7)

10M

This means that ten man are required to complete the following work in ten days.

One man is required to complete then the number of days (you can imagine yourself that if you and your friend can solve 100 problem in 1hour it will require you a more time to complete the work.)

so it will be 10*10=100days

Hence one man can do a work in 100days.

So 12 men can complete it in =100/12

=50/6

=25/3

Hence 12 men can do a work in 25/3 days.
