7. The perimeter of a rectangle is 130 cm. If the breadth of the rectangle is
30 cm, find its length. Also find the area of the rectangle.

ay740292: Let length =L

 Perimeter ⇒2(L+30)=130

                  ⇒L=35cm

area of rectangle =l×b=30×35=1050cm2

PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE IS 2(L + B)

2(L + 30)= 130

2L + 60 = 130

2L = 130 - 60 = 70

L = 70/2 = 35

AREA = L×B

35 × 30 = 1050 cm².

hope it helps u.
