7. What is the value of (60 - 20) (60 + 20) ?

dalina: 40 +80=120
samrudhi15: (60)^2- (20)^2= 3600 -400 = 3200
chirag1432: according to the question there is no sign of + so it will be 40×80 = 3200
samrudhi15: so the answer is 3200
dalina: sorry your right

(60-20) (60+20)
40(60+20)
40(80)
3200

we can solve this by using an algebraic identity i.e, (a+b)(a-b) = a^2 - b^2

so, (60 + 20) (60 - 20)

= 60^2 - 20^2

= 3600 - 400

= 3200

I hope this answers your question!
