Answer:

7x - 15y =2 ....(i)

x+2y = 3 ....(ii)

(ii) x+2y = 3

x = 3-2y ....(iii)

Putting the value of x in the equation (i)

(i) 7x-15y = 2

7(3-2y)-15y = 2

21-14y-15y = 2

-29y = -19

y = 19/29....(iv)

putting the value of y in the equation (ii)

(ii) x+2y = 3

x+2(19/29) = 3

x+38/29 = 3

x = 3-38/29

x = 87-38/29

x = 49/29

therefore value of y = 19/29

and value of x = 49/29
