1st equation

7x + 3y = 5 \:  \: (\times 3)

2nd equation

2x - 9y = 6

Now,

21x + 9y = 15

2x - 9y =6

---------------------

23x = 21

x =  \frac{21}{23}

Putting value of x in equation 2

2( \frac{21}{23} ) - 9y = 6

 \frac{42}{23}  - 9y = 6

 - 9y = 6 -  \frac{42}{23}

 - 9y =  \frac{138 - 42}{23}

 - 9y =  \frac{96}{23}

y =  \frac{96}{23}  \times  \frac{ - 1}{9}

y =  \frac{ - 96}{207}
