8.CLASS VI MATHEMATICS.
We know forest is a natural resource. To determine the density we need to find out the tree
are available in that area.
A forest arca consists of various number of trees.the density of the forest is calculated by
determining the tree density of an area.
i.The average tree found in the buffer zone of the forest is 100 and in the core area is 200.
Find the tree density in each area of buffer zone and core zone. The total area of the forest
is 1 hectare.
(hints- 1 hectare = 10000 meter square divide the average tree found in each zone with
10,000)
ii.Find out the total tree density including the buffer zone and core zone of the forest.
